Holistic physiotherapy
Physiotherapy specializes in physical movement. Structural disorders or limitations can be specifically examined and treated.
Since many traumas and psychological issues can also manifest in our fascia, muscle, and joint systems, physiotherapy combined with manual therapy is an important component for resolving mental and emotional-psychological issues.
Internal processes are often also reflected in posture and body statics, i.e., "how we stand in life." The muscle-fascia system is, in a sense, a mirror of our inner life.
Targeted manual techniques support the lymphatic system in detoxification and improve the functionality of the organs involved. -
Kinesiology - ART
The Autonomous Response Test (ART) according to Dr. Klinghardt is a comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic method that uses neurological muscle testing to utilize the body as a biofeedback system. This allows environmental stressors, disruptive fields, allergies, deficiencies, mental programs, psychological trauma, etc., to be identified and correlated with your symptoms.
The core of the method is testing whether the autonomic nervous system (the part of the nervous system to which we have little volitional access) is capable of regulation, or whether there are blockages or disturbances that prevent the body from regulating itself. -
Jaw osteopathy
Jaw, mouth and teeth as a reflection of our body
There is more movement in our jaw and mouth than we are often aware of. The teeth never stand still either. They are part of a dynamic system and say a lot about our inner life and our health. Every inconsistency within the jaw has a meaning. The teeth are a mirror of our entire constitution.
The Bite
The occlusion (=jaw closure) or the bite (how the upper and lower jaws fit together) plays an important role. If the upper and lower jaws are optimally aligned, the teeth have ideal contact with each other and the jaw can also be positioned in an optimal resting position, this leads to more energy, improved regeneration and greater performance. An optimal bite also has a direct influence on the overall statics of the body, i.e. our posture, the fascia system, breathing and the lymphatic system.
Optimal breathing from head to toe
Breathing is essential because, in addition to the lungs, the diaphragm and other systems ensure that the body is supplied with oxygen, carbon dioxide and nutrients. Osteopathic jaw regulation therapy supports self-regulation by restoring the balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. Optimally, breathing is done consciously through the nose, which improves the oxygen supply to the cells, regulates the nervous system (for example through vasodilation and anti-inflammatory nitric oxide) and optimizes lymphatic drainage and blood circulation from head to toe.
Reflex zones
The body consists of many different reflex zones. These are zones or areas that represent or depict a body part, organ or joint and through whose treatment one can influence the corresponding body parts. In addition to the foot reflex zones, these reflex zones can also be found on the head, hand, ear, palate/mouth and teeth. One could view a reflex zone as a kind of remote control or image of the respective organ or joint. These are taken into account and treated as part of the therapy.
The wave as a symbol for breathing and body regulation
The wave in the form of breathing does not only take place from the nose or mouth to the lungs, but from head to toe. Ultimately, all joint systems and organs are directly or indirectly involved in this wave-like breathing via the fascia system. A movement or even just an impulse on the body should run from head to toe, including through the fascia, like a wave. Jaw regulation therapy is intended to promote this wave phenomenon and improve or even enable this breathing wave.
If you have jaw pain, jaw cracking, or grinding, please contact us. Ultimately, the therapy encompasses the entire body. This therapy can also be used for back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, etc. and can promote overall body regeneration.
