Description physical therapy
Allianzpraxis Teichmüller – Where therapy at the highest level begins.
Those who visit our practice are looking for more than a standard treatment. He is looking for experience, precision, and therapists who understand the person as a whole.
For over 30 years, the Allianz practice Teichmüller has stood for high-quality physiotherapy and osteopathy in Bad Homburg. Our patients come not only from the Hochtaunus district, but from the entire Rhine-Main area – often on recommendation. The reason is simple: We take our time, listen and develop individual therapy concepts based on sound expertise, many years of experience and state-of-the-art treatment methods.
Every treatment begins with a detailed analysis. Because pain rarely originates where it is felt. Our aim is to identify causes, understand connections and create sustainable solutions – instead of merely alleviating complaints in the short term.
Our team combines physiotherapy and osteopathy at the highest professional level. Regular training, specializations and a continuous focus on current scientific findings are a matter of course for us. This combination of experience, expertise and personal care makes our practice a first point of contact for people who value quality.
Whether acute pain, orthopedic or neurological complaints, sports injuries, postoperative rehabilitation or the treatment of infants, children and adults – we always pursue one goal: to offer you the best possible therapy and to sustainably improve your quality of life.
With us, you won't find treatment according to a rigid formula. You can expect a practice where quality, time, and humanity make the difference.

Osteopathy
At the Teichmüller Allianz practice, we combine modern physiotherapy with high-quality osteopathy. This way you benefit from two forms of therapy that complement each other perfectly and together pursue the goal of not only treating symptoms, but also identifying their causes.
Osteopathy views the body as a functional unit. Movement restrictions, tension or functional disorders can manifest themselves in a completely different place than where the actual causes lie. Through targeted manual examination, such connections can be identified and incorporated into the treatment.
Especially in cases of recurring or long-lasting complaints, the combination of physiotherapy and osteopathy often offers a decisive added value. While physiotherapy specifically relieves pain, improves mobility and restores function, osteopathy broadens the view to include the interplay of muscles, joints, fascia, organs and nervous system.
With Matthias Teichmüller (D.O., DPO) and Christina Teichmüller (B.Sc. Osteopathy), our practice has two specially trained osteopaths with many years of experience. Both completed their training at the renowned College Sutherland and subsequently specialized in pediatric osteopathy at the Osteopathic Centre for Children (OZK) Vienna. Furthermore, Matthias Teichmüller has been an instructor at the OZK for many years, training osteopaths in this field.
In our practice, osteopathy is not isolated from physiotherapy – it complements it where it offers added therapeutic value. Thanks to the close collaboration of our therapists, treatments can be individually tailored and different therapeutic approaches can be meaningfully combined.
This way you receive comprehensive care from a single source – professionally sound, individually tailored to your complaints and with the aim of offering you the best possible treatment.

Gymnastics and group room
Active movement is an essential component of successful therapy. Therefore, the Allianz practice Teichmüller has a spacious training and group room with high-quality equipment and medical training devices. Here we complement classic physiotherapy with active forms of therapy and individually supervised training concepts – for sustainable treatment success.
A particular focus is on physiotherapy using equipment (KGG). Through the targeted use of training equipment, strength, mobility, coordination and stability are systematically improved. Each training session is individually tailored to your specific complaints, physical condition and personal goals, and is supervised by our qualified therapists.
Our training area offers ideal conditions for:- Therapeutic exercise using equipment (KGG)
- Targeted muscle building
- Improvement of posture and body statics
- Stabilization and coordination training
- Training of the core and deep muscles
- Functional back training
- Prevention of musculoskeletal disorders
- Individual exercise programs for everyday life, work and sports
In addition to device-assisted therapy, our group room is also used for therapeutic exercise sessions and prevention programs. The combination of personal support, high-quality equipment and individually tailored training programs creates ideal conditions to improve mobility, prevent discomfort in the long term and sustainably increase physical performance.
Our goal is not only to treat you, but also to support you in staying active, resilient and healthy in the long term.
